Dr. Kesari has had a long-standing interest in cancer stem cells and studies their role in the formation of brain tumors and resistance to treatment. He believes that in order to cure patients with brain tumors we first need to gain a better molecular and biological understanding of the disease. Selenia Claros serves as the Practice Manager at Asthra Health, where she oversees the behind-the-scenes operations that support high-quality, personalized care for patients with complex neurological and oncologic conditions.
With many years of experience in advanced, research-informed medical settings, Selenia has worked closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to help ensure that complex care is delivered in a coordinated, safe, and patient-centered manner. Her background includes care coordination across institutions, operational oversight, and supporting clinical and research programs serving patients with highly specialized needs.
At Asthra Health, Selenia partners closely with physician leadership to design and manage the systems that allow care to run smoothly from patient communication and care coordination to operational processes that support quality, safety, and continuity. Her role is focused on making sure patients feel informed, supported, and confident at every step of their care.
Selenia is deeply committed to patient advocacy and believes that exceptional care requires not only clinical expertise, but also strong infrastructure, transparency, and a team that truly listens.
Nancy serves as a Patient Care Coordinator at Asthra Health, where she supports patients and families navigating complex neuro-oncology and neurological care.
She works closely with physicians and clinical teams to help coordinate appointments, imaging, and insurance authorizations, and serves as a primary point of contact for patient questions and care coordination. Nancy assists with medical record and imaging review, scheduling of diagnostic studies and treatments, and provides clear written and verbal instructions to help patients prepare for upcoming visits or procedures.
Nancy is deeply committed to helping patients and families feel informed, supported, and at ease throughout their care journey. She understands that navigating complex medical care can feel overwhelming, and she takes pride in offering clear communication, timely follow-up, and compassionate support.
Nancy is fluent in Spanish and is able to support Spanish-speaking patients and families throughout their care experience.
